Badger Basement Systems came over to perform a regular service of our battery-backup sump system at our home this July. Before the serviceman arrived, I received a call the day prior to ensure we would be home. Then, on the day of the visit, I received a call from our serviceman, Bill, a few minutes before his arrival. When Bill arrived, he was exactly on time and was friendly and respectful. He even put on shoe protection (footies) without being asked. As I had a radon mitigation system installed since Badger Basement Systems was here last, to inspect the sump pump, Bill had to remove the caulk and dismantle the exhaust piping of the radon mitigation system in order to remove the sump cover. I was pleasantly surprised at the care and caution that Bill had taken to handle the complex situation. Upon inspection of the sump system, Bill put everything back together, including the radon mitigation system, complete with new caulk. Bill also explained some important things to me again to remind me how the battery-backup sump system works, which was greatly appreciated. Before leaving, Bill also measured my basement humidity (it was summer) and inspected my dehumidifier which I bought myself a few years ago. Bill pointed out that I should clean the back vent on my dehumidifier since it was becoming obstructed with a thick layer of dust which I had never noticed since the back of the unit was facing a wall. Bill and the folks at Badger Basement Systems care for your house like you would care for your own house; ensuring everything in the basement was running correctly and efficiently.
