In Waukesha, WI, a homeowner who has owned their home for 2 years is interested in remodeling and updating their small basement. Currently, half of the basement is finished but lacks proper framing, with block walls that are painted. The space is carpeted and has outlets, but the homeowner is looking to finish the other half of the basement into an open-concept area spanning 473 sq. ft. They have opted to keep their existing flooring and a painted ceiling done by the homeowner. The project will include the installation of a Vinyl Perimeter Wall, Recessed Can Lights, a SaniDry XP Air System, and a Wall Mounted Handrail.
The homeowners have lived in their Waukesha, WI, home for five years and are ready to make significant updates. Recently, they installed egress windows in their basement and now seek to add two bedrooms to accommodate their growing family. The remodel aims to create a new bedroom downstairs for their son and convert an existing bedroom into a nursery. Additionally, they want to add doorways and update the flooring in an upstairs bedroom. With 133 square feet of space to work with, this basement finishing project will provide the homeowners with the additional living space they need while enhancing the functionality and comfort of their home.
