After having the basement in her Stamford home waterproofed by our sister company, Basement Systems, Phyllis and her husband George decided to go a step further and finish the basement as well. They visited our TBF showroom at our headquarters in Seymour to take a look at what we offered. Already confident in our company and happy with the products, the couple transformed their dull basement into a beautiful room.

Our basement finishing experts installed the EverLast™ wall system with white trim around the interior perimeter of the basement. The linen-style basement ceiling tiles completed the finished look, and our basement finishing contractors covered the unsightly ductwork by boxing it in with the tiles.

Adding three EverLast™ basement windows as well as three SunHouse™ basement window enclosures brought natural light into the basement making it look brighter and cleaner. We also installed can lights along the ceiling to make the room brighter. A few 6-panel doors rounded out the room.

In addition to the basement finishing products, we also installed an UltraSump® battery back-up sump pump, baseboard heating, and a SaniDry™ basement dehumidifier to keep the finished basement dry, warm and comfortable. In case the power ever goes out during a storm, the UltraSump® will keep running to prevent basement flooding, and the SaniDry™ not only dehumidifies the air, but all filters the air eliminating any musty or damp basement odors. Phyllis and George now have a clean, gorgeous, useful space they can enjoy all the time.
