This Killingworth family was tired of looking at their dark, uncomfortable basement, and not having somewhere to retreat to during these cold winter months! They gave us a call at Connecticut Basement Systems, and we were happy to come out and help!
Our System Design Specialist, Taz Petersen, came out to the family's home, and sat down with them to quickly diagnose a problem, and offer a fool proof solution. He sent out our expert foreman, Kryz Wilk, and his team, and they quickly got the job done! The first thing they installed was our BrightWall Panels. These waterproof and stain resistant panels are easy to clean, durable, and an effective moisture and vapor barrier. The system includes semi-rigid, white plastic panels, trim strips used to join panels together and plastic fasteners that are used to attach panels to the foundation wall. Afterward, they installed our ThermalDry Flooring in Sandstone Gray Tile. This 10-year warrantied, square shaped, snap together tiles have a built in drainage and thermal barrier, and are super to easy clean! They give basements a new, attractive look, while also offering a warmer alternative to your cold, concrete floors!

This basement renovation goes beyond the surface; we waterproofed this Glastonbury, CT home. In the first picture, you can see water stains on the wall. To combat this, we installed the EverLast Wall Panel System. Unlike concrete, they will never get moldy or rot and cannot be damaged by moisture. It is only system with a warranty against water damage.
Additionally, we installed Total Basement Finishing's Drop Ceiling Tiles, which are made specifically for basement environments. Built for long-lasting beauty in your new space, these tiles are warrantied to be non-sagging and mold resistant.
In this basement we installed our Everlast Wall system to cover up those concrete basement walls and they are NOT like drywall. Drywall with fiberglass insulation supports mold growth, will damage from moisture, and will lose insulation value when wet.. We also added our ThermalDry flooring and a drop ceiling to finish off the new look. The end result is a much more inviting living space, ready to become a new play room or another livingroom, the possiblities are now endless.
A resident from Glastonbury, CT, wanted to finish their basement. Jason Waldek and Dan Medina were happy to prepare an estimate for them. In the after photo, you can see that our team used Everlast Wall Panel, ThermalDry gray tiles, and SandiDry Sedona Air Systems to complete this basement look.
The homeowners in this Glastonbury, CT home had a basement they could not use nevermind entertain guests in. They hoped to expand the usable square footage of their home and to host family and guests in their basement. After contacting the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems, we got right to work. The task was to finish their entire basement. The homeowners chose our Everlast™ wall systems which is 197% stronger than traditional drywall: a TV can be mounted directly on it without a stud! The homeowners also had us install our ThermalDry® flooring to cover up the old cold cement flooring. ThermalDry flooring is not only visually appealing but also resistant to water and will not support mold or mildew growth.
