To make this finished basement look complete and uniform, we needed to cover the brick support column. Unlike the usual round steel columns, we could not install a SmartPost column wrap. Instead, we covered it in the same materials that we used on the walls.
If you want to make your basement better, it’s worth paying attention to your basement windows. For many years, builders have been in the habit of installing inexpensive wood or steel-framed basement windows in basements. While this strategy certainly saved money, it also resulted in problems for homeowners.
Our EverLast® windows will easily outlast steel and wood-framed basement windows, and look great doing it. EverLast windows also feature insulated, low-e glass to reduce heat loss and improve energy efficiency.
Basement To Beautiful™ Basement Wall Panels is the superior choice for a dry, energy-efficient basement.
Designed with the unique, advanced SilverGlo™ graphite-infused foam insulation, this insulation provides 24% more energy-saving than conventional foam.
At 2 ½" thick and R-13 insulation, Basement To Beautiful™ panels create a warm, protective blanket around your basement that will never rot or support mold growth.
If your basement has been finished with drywall, it could be seriously damaged during a flood like this one was. Once drywall is damaged by water, mold is not far behind. Thankfully, only the bottom portion of this basement's walls needed to be replaced, which ended up being a beautiful design detail!
We cut off the bottom of the drywall and replaced it with our Everlast™ Finished Wall Restoration System. This system works great with our other products, including our drainage system and basement flooring. The washable surface will stay looking great for many years to come and there's a 50-year Warranty on the EverLast Walls--What could be better than that?
The owners of this home coundn't enjoy the time they spent in this watery basement. We installed our waterproofing products to prevent future flooding, then our finishing walls and flooring. The owners of the house were able to spend time in their basement and not worry about flooding anymore!
