A homeowner in Norwalk was looking to create a rec room in their basement, so they called our Total Basement Finishing team to transform their basement. One of our Sales Consultants, Steve Machnicz, went out to the home to understand exactly what the customer wanted and how we could use our products to finish their basement.
One of our Project Managers, Dan Medina, would assist in looking over the plans and assigning the job to one of our crews. Our TBF crew would begin by installing our EverLast wall panels which are made of 100% inorganic material. These get installed with trim and crown molding. They installed our ThermalDry Elite Plank flooring in grey, which keeps the floors up to 10 degrees warmer. They also, installed new doors and two of our EverLast basement windows. Overall, this project had a complete transformation and now this homeowner can thoroughly enjoy their basement space.
A homeowner located in Norwalk, CT had a nasty crawlspace that they were looking to encapsulate. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a proper solution! After setting an appointment, one of our Salesmen, Mike Bourdeau, went to the home to evaluate and measure the crawlspace and then propose a solution with our encapsulation systems.
Soon after it would be time for one of our Foremen, Clive Burrel, and his crew to install this job. They installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier throughout the entire space, on the walls and floors. This will protect the entire space from moisture and eliminate any musty odors. Then they installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier that will eliminate moisture in the air and prevent mold growth. To keep the space energy efficient, RimJoist insulation was installed to keep the temperature throughout the space and the rest of the home regulated properly.
