A homeowner reached out to DBS looking for help with their wet basement foundation. One of our Design Specialists went to the home to run a free no-obligation estimate appointment. After a thorough inspection, our Design Specialist provided the homeowner with a free no-obligation estimate for our Basement Wateproofing. One of our crews installed our french drain system and a new sump pump to thoroughly waterproof the space.

The owner of this home had recently moved in when they discovered that their basement struggled with staying dry. Cracks had also formed in the walls, an indication of foundation failure. Looking for a solution to their leaking and foundation issues, the owner called DBS.

Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo went out to the property to conduct a free no-obligation estimate of the issues. After a thorough investigation, he informed the owner of DBS's solutions that would fix both issues. For the leaking, he suggested installing WaterGuard® Drain System, CleanSpace® to waterproof the walls, and a TripleSafe™ sump pump. As for the foundational issues, he recommended the PowerBrace™ Wall Bracing System.

Foreman Joe Harris led the installation for this project. With the help of a team, they installed the WaterGuard® Drain System to help direct water into the TripleSafe™ sump pump so that it can be expelled outside and away from the foundation. The walls were lined with CleanSpace® to direct water leaking down the walls into the WaterGuard® Drains. They also installed 16 PowerBrace™ I-beams to stabilize the walls. The PowerBrace™ System is backed with a 75-warranty against movement.

The homeowner can now relax comfortably in their new home knowing that their home has been permanently stabilized, their walls are free from further cracking, and the leaks have been contained.

This waterproofing job was done for a church group in Virginia, MN. They had noticed the basement was having issues with staying dry and were referred to DBS by someone who had previously had work done.

Design Specialist Rich Johnsen visited the home to conduct a free no-obligation estimate. After completing a thorough investigation, he suggested DBS's waterproofing system solution. The system is composed of installing a WaterGuard®Drain System to divert water into a sump pump.

Foreman Jordan Jeseritz led the installation of this project. With the help of a crew, they installed the WaterGuard®Drain System by jackhammering the perimeter of the room, affixing the drains into each trench, and covering the trenches with cement. They installed a TripleSafe™ sump pump for the drain system to empty water into and directed a discharge line from the sump pump out and away from the foundation.

Now that the basement has been properly waterproofed, the residents will be able to relax comfortably in a healthier and drier environment.

The owner of this home in Virginia, MN was getting ready to create additional living spaces in their basement. However, they needed to first fix the leaking and foundational issues in the basement before doing so. As for the leaking issue, he recommended installing WaterGuard® Drain System and SingleSafe™ sump pump.

A DBS Foreman led the installation of this project with the help of a crew. Together they installed 13 PowerBrace™ I-beams to help support cracked and leaning walls in the basement. They also installed the WaterGuard® Drain System around the perimeter of the basement and directed the drains so they empty out into a SingleSafe™ sump pump for the water to be expelled up and away from the foundation through a discharge line. In the winter, an IceGuard® with perforations in it will allow for water to escape in case the discharge line freezes over.

Now that the home has been properly waterproofed and permanently stabilized, the owner can go about remodeling the basement to accommodate for more living space. They will be able to finally relax comfortably in their healthy, dry, and safe basement.

These drains lead to a sump pump that removes the water from the inside and away from the home. This system is effective because it collects the water before it even has the chance to enter your home.
