Homeowners in Minneapolis, MN wanted to transform their finished basement. Because their basement was prone to occasional leaks and mold, they were interested in learning more about our moisture and mildew-resistant basement finishing materials. After doing research online, they reached out to DBS for a free, no-obligation estimate for their basement project. 

Our Basement Finishing expert Jason Swanson was the Design Specialist for this project. He visited the home, consulted with the homeowners, and created a custom plan for this basement finishing project and drywall restoration for the damaged portions of the basement. 

The DBS team of expert carpenters began this project by removing some of the existing drywall and carpeting. From there, they installed our water-resistant products, as well as completed base electrical; installing outlets, switches, jacks, lighting, and other finishes. The homeowners chose MillCreek Flooring™, a scratch-resistant and moisture-proof flooring, in our natural oak color. Our team also installed our EverLast™ wall panels and ceiling panels with recessed can lights. 

These homeowners were happy with our work and now have more space to dedicate to their active family!

This home in Maple, WI had water issues in the basement. Knowing they needed more protection from water intrusion, they connected with DBS to schedule a free, no-obligation estimate.

Rich Johnsen is an expert in basement waterproofing and gave a thorough inspection of the basement. After designing a plan to keep water at bay, our basement waterproofing crew installed a system that would protect the home from water leaking in the basement. 

DBS Foreman Trevor Ingle and his crew began the waterproofing job by breaking out concrete to create a trench around the home's footing. Our WaterGuard® drain system was put into place and will effectively capture wall and floor seepage. Water collected in the drain is directed to a new TripleSafe™ sump pump with battery backup.

The crew finished the job by installing IceGuard® on the discharge lines to better protect the sump pump system against freezing conditions. 

Homeowners in Duluth, MN finished their basement with traditional materials; drywall, wood paneling, and carpeting. Occasionally, the basement would collect water so after learning about DBS and our water and mold-resistant basement finishing products, they reached out to us to schedule an estimate for the work. 

Our Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo visited the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for this basement finishing project. After a close inspection and thorough consultation with the homeowner, Henrik created a custom design to update the bedrooms, living space, laundry, and closets.

This customer was looking to properly waterproof their basement! After a quick response, our design specialist was able to recommended our Brightwall and Waterguard to repair and seal their foundation!

After scheduling the best time with the customer, one of our foremen led the installation of this project with help from their team. The crew began prepping to repair and seal the damaged foundation, clearing any belongings and sealing the area to insure a clean home. Then they began the repair/sealing process to help create a lasting and effective solution. Now this homeowner can relax in their healthy home!

Customer is worried about mold in a closet that continues to get wet.  Our team waterproofed the closet and installed waterproofing around the corner with a sump pump. We were pumped to help this customer with WOW Service!
