White Bear Lake Family Gains More Space and Home Value with Total Basement Finishing
Homeowners in White Bear Lake, MN wanted to invest in their home and gain more space by finishing their basement. Occasionally, the basement would collect water so after learning about DBS and our water and mold resistant basement finishing products, they reached out to us to schedule an estimate for the work.
Our Basement Finishing Sales Manager Denny Meints was the Design Specialist for this project. He visited the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for this basement finishing project. After a close inspection and thorough consultation with the homeowner, Denny created a custom design for a finished basement, featuring a laundry room and plenty of family space.
The DBS team of expert carpenters installed our water-resistant products, as well as completed base electrical; installing outlets, switches, jacks, lighting, and other finishes. The homeowners chose MillCreek Flooring™, a scratch-resistant and moisture-proof flooring, in our walnut color. Finished Garage in Eagan, MN Adds Value and Ease for Year-Round Use
A customer in Eagan, MN was looking to remodel the inside of their garage. Wanting a system that would be water and stain resistant, easy to clean, and durable, they contacted DBS for a free, no-obligation estimate for a garage finishing system.
DBS Design Specialist Jason Swanson is an expert in our Total Basement Finishing™ system. He visited the home, took thorough measurements, and developed a design with the homeowner. The garage had some damaged dry wall and concern with rot on the the wood studs beneath. Taking that into consideration, Jason included a MoldX2 Botanical™ treatment in his proposal.
DBS Carpenter Paul Villella and team installed a BrightWall® Wall Panel System in the garage space. These semi-rigid plastic panels are perfect for application over poured concrete or concrete block walls. Waterproof, stain resistant, and easy to clean, these wall panels outsmart traditional drywall.
The homeowner was happy with the work done and now has a finished space tough enough for garage activities.

New Sump Pump to Protect Leaky Basement in Maple, WI
This home in Maple, WI had water issues in the basement. Knowing they needed more protection from water intrusion, they connected with DBS to schedule a free, no-obligation estimate.
Rich Johnsen is an expert in basement waterproofing and gave a thorough inspection of the basement. After designing a plan to keep water at bay, our basement waterproofing crew installed a system that would protect the home from water leaking in the basement.
DBS Foreman Trevor Ingle and his crew began the waterproofing job by breaking out concrete to create a trench around the home's footing. Our WaterGuard® drain system was put into place and will effectively capture wall and floor seepage. Water collected in the drain is directed to a new TripleSafe™ sump pump with battery backup.
The crew finished the job by installing IceGuard® on the discharge lines to better protect the sump pump system against freezing conditions.
