As you see in the "before" shot, our latest client faced such a dilemma right after purchasing their dream home. They needed a dependable, long-lasting solution. A basement in Duluth, MN was experiencing issues with water seeping in to it. The homeowner reached out to DBS for a solution to the problem. Our crew was able to go in and install WaterGuard® around the area of the basmeent, which is a draignage system that extracts unwanted water that seeps through the concrete. This photo set shows the finished product of the service. The drainage pipe sits below the freshly poured concrete in the "after" picture. With the help of DBS, this homeowner can now enjoy a more dry and comfortable basement area.

This customer reached out to DBS after experiencing issues with their basement, where they intended to keep it dry for storage purposes. Puddles had emerged in certain areas and they knew they would need a permanent solution.  There was a 5" step up into an additional slab, and a Waterguard® would be installed in front of it to ensure proper drainage. 

The customer was looking to have a dryer crawlspace and stable foundation before making repairs to the rest of the structure. Our team went in and installed our SmartJacks® to help stabilize and lift the foundation, as well as, install a waterproofing system to help keep the space dry!

This Duluth basement was damp and moldy when the homeowners needed a solution to stop water and moisture from staying in their basement. They gave DBS a call to solve their problem.

Our Design Specialist, Henrik Makitalo, quickly came to evaluate the situation. He concluded that this basement would need a complete waterproofing plan using a new TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System in addition to permanent wall stabilization using Power Brace™ technology. Our Foreman arrived and the Power Brace™ beams were installed first along the perimeter of the basement to stabilize the caving walls. Then, a Triple Safe Sump Pump was installed to keep the basement dry.

These homeowners now enjoy a dry, safe and stable basement year-round.
