Challenge: A couple in Lynnfield, Massachusetts, have a beautiful home. The husband is a stay-at-home dad to two teenagers, and while they have a finished basement, they want to refinish it to be a beautiful entertainment space. To achieve this, they want not only their basement refinished but they also would like us to finish their garage. They need much work done, wanting the space to be completely gutted. This requires changing the mechanicals, converting from oil to propane, and tearing everything down to the foundation.
Solution: We removed everything down to the garage ceiling, stairwell, and box staircase. After the demolition, we replaced the stairs with beautiful oak. We then had an electrician replace the old wiring and install a new panel. We removed the old oil tank, boiler, and heater, replacing them with new and improved utilities. Ultimately, we created two beautiful new rooms with a fully painted basement, a new cedar closet, and three areas of custom cabinetry.
This space is now a fully functioning office to run a business from home.
