In a home with a finished basement, leaking water can infiltrate and damage the interior of the living space in many different ways. For this Berlin, NJ home, the water seeping into the home was getting trapped beneath the vinyl flooring and damaging the basement space. The homeowner wanted to protect their home and ensure that their basement wouldn't be exposed to damaging water conditions. Our team came to assess the basement and install a solution that would satisfy the homeowner's concerns. We replaced the old flooring with our ThermalDry Elite Plank Flooring. Made up of inorganic material, these planks imitate real hardwood flooring without the risk of rotting or trapping water. ThermalDry Planks have a pegged underside that provides a thermal break between the concrete base and the new floor, as well as allows leaking water to flow beneath it without getting trapped. We also installed our EverLast Walling on half of the wall to eliminate the risk of water damage along the base of the wall where water presence is greater. With these new products, this basement has a beautiful, waterproof finish!
Our Restoration EverLast Wall Panel System is the perfect solution for wet and damaged dry wall. Water stands no chance against this waterproof and mold resistant panel. With built- in insulation, these panels not only create a warmer environment in the basement but also give it a brighter look as well. Protect your investment, get EverLast Wall Panels!
After water flooded a basement damaging the lower half of every wall, Quality 1st Basements removed and replaced it with EverLast Wall Restoration. EverLast Wall Panels are mold proof and waterproof! They have built in insulation to create a more comfortable environment in the basement.
Project Manager, Jonathan Neira and his crew replaced all the old basement windows and installed full size windows to bring more natural light into the entire downstairs. The old windows leaked and brought humidity and cold drafts into the basement. These new windows sealed the basement preventing water and unwanted drafts in side. Now that the windows were done, the homeowners can now get ready to finish their Basement!
