Dirt crawl spaces allow water vapor to enter the crawl space and flow up through the rest of the home. Our CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system completely seals the crawl space off from the earth providing a dry, healthy environment which can then be used for storage!

This nasty dirt crawl space was encapsulated with SilverGlo Heat Barrier and Clean Space Vapor Barrier to keep the crawl space dry and warm. A SaniDry Sedona which is the most efficient, high performance dehumidifier and filtration system was installed to eliminate damp and musty odors by drying and filtering the air throughout the crawl space area. 

A homeowner was experiencing a cold and damp crawl space in their Hoboken, NJ home and contacted Quality 1st Basements for a solution. Our System Design Specialist, did a full inspection and noticed a small water leak that caused the space to become cold and damp. He recommended encapsulating the crawl space to prevent future water leaks and overall creates a cleaner and healthy space. Our crew installed a SmartSump pump and a Sedona Dehumidifier to not only keep the crawl space dry but to prevent musty odors and moisture from forming. TerraBlock was installed on the floor as extra insulation to prevent cold floors on the first level of the home. Lastly, a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier was installed to seal the area for a cleaner space. 

A resident in Hoboken, New Jersey noticed their floors were sagging. Over time, this area had high moisture and humidity that effected the wooden beams inside the crawlspace. The floor joist began to sag causing the first floor to become uneven.

He suggested they use steel support systems to stabilize and level the home. Our foreman, Mario Barron, installed the SmartJack Steel Support System in the crawl space. SmartJacks do not replace the current columns, but they offer additional support to the entire crawl space beam and floor joist.
