At this Baltimore home, the sump pump was no longer pumping enough water out. We had our team dig out the sump and install our SuperSump pump system with a Zoeller M53 cast iron pump, liner and airtight lid. This product has features such as an alarm system for when the water level rises, if a breaker trips, or if there is a malfunction. This sump system protects your basement from flooding and seals off any odor or harmful gases that could potentially escape.
After observing clear signs of water intrusion in their basement, a homeowner in Baltimore, MD grew increasingly concerned about the potential for mold growth and structural deterioration. Seeking a reliable, long-term solution, they reached out to the waterproofing experts at Quality 1st.
Our team performed a thorough inspection to determine the extent and source of the seepage, enabling us to develop a tailored plan to address both the immediate water concerns and prevent future damage.
To resolve the issue, we installed a full waterproofing system that included our patented WaterGuard Drainage System to capture water at the foundation’s perimeter, a TrenchDrain System to intercept surface water, and a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump for dependable water removal. We complemented these installations with a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to maintain optimal humidity levels and CleanSpace Wall Panels to create a vapor-proof barrier and improve the basement’s appearance.
Together, these systems work seamlessly to keep the space clean, dry, and protected, giving the homeowner lasting peace of mind and a healthier home environment!
In this dirt floor crawl space, the owners wanted to clean out and encapsulate the space with insulation. Our team went out to the home to remove and haul away all the debris in the crawl space in order for us to install our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier that will capture any moisture or wall leakage. Once the barrier is placed, we laid our SilverGlo insulated wall panels that are highly effective and have a built-in radiant barrier that will overall save on electric bills.
At this home the owners had nothing but a dirt floor basement which was causing the upstairs part of the home to be cold. Our team fully encapsulated the area by pouring concrete to create the new floor and placed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier along every wall to control the moisture and vapor seeping in. Lastly, we installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier that control and keep the humidity low so the owners for now on will not longer be having moisture or dampness issues.
After we placed our TripleSafe pump in the basement we installed our IceGuard discharge line system which allows water from the sump pump to escape incase the pipe freeze due to cold weather or even blocked for any reason. By having this system the owner won't have to worry about the basement flooding and will have peace about the water getting safely discharged outside and away from the home. Our sump pump system and IceGuard both work hand in hand to keeping the home dry even during the winter months.
