The before and after of a crawlspace encapsulation in Marietta, OH.
Before, this Tiffin, OH crawl space was filthy, smelly and had a dirt floor. This combination led to a moist and unhealthy environment which would affect the rest of the home. The homeowner wanted to transfer her crawl space into a dry and healthier area.
Now, this crawl space is transformed into a clean, dry and healthy area! CleanSpace liner was installed on top of the dirt floor which will act as a moisture barrier and give the crawl space a clean finish. SilverGlo insulation was installed on the walls of the crawl space. This 2 inch insulation with a radiant barrier will both insulate and reflect heat back into the crawl space. Lastly, a SaniDry Sedona was installed and placed into the area. This dehumidifier will keep humidity below 55% ensuring that the air quality will be cleaner and healthier. The combination of all of these products created the exact crawl space that this homeowner wanted!

A homeowner in Alexandria, OH wanted to get his crawl space encapsulated and knew just who to call – Mid-Sate Basement Systems! His father had had us complete a similar project at his home a few months prior, and he highly recommended our company. So, his son decided to go with us as well. We used the CleanSpace vapor barrier to encapsulate the crawl space. There were also some sagging floors above the space, so we repaired that foundational issue with SmartJacks. The homeowner is happy with the results and now has a clean and safe home.
