This basement in Malta, OH, had cracked, bowing foundation walls that were leaking water into the basement. The homeowner contacted Mid-State Basement Systems to do a full perimeter of WaterGuard and our CleanSpace wall vapor barrier to seal out the moisture and properly drain water seepage through the sump pump system. To stabilize the bowing foundation walls, the crew also installed our PowerBrace foundation support beams. Now, this homeowner's basement is clean, dry, and safe!

A homeowner in New Concord, OH wanted to finish her basement but needed storage space to move everything from the current basement into. She had a crawl space, but it was dirty and humid, so she didn't want to put anything in there as-is. So, she called Mid-State Basement Systems to encapsulate and insulate the crawl space.

We installed a CleanSpace vapor barrier (a 20-millimeter thick plastic barrier similar to a pool liner) and SilverGlo insulation.

Now, the crawl space is moisture-free and well-insulated. The homeowner can move all of the things that need to be stored from the basement into the crawl space, and she can start on her basement finishing project!

We encapsulated this crawl space with our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier and Drainage Matting! The previous plastic sheet was trapping in moisture and a musty smell was permeating into the home. A vapor barrier slows or prevents ground water seepage from evaporating into the crawl space air.

SmartJacks are jacks that are made of galvanized steel and can hold loads of more than 60,000 pounds. They can be adjusted to lift the floor back into its original position. The homeowner is thrilled with the results and no longer has to worry about the integrity of the floor and foundation.
