A homeowner in Hilliard, Ohio, contacted Mid-State Basement Systems with concerns about her living room floors sagging. We sent our Sales Inspector, Francis, to the home to meet with the homeowner and discuss their concerns. Francis also provided a free inspection of the interior and exterior of the home. 

He found several signs of foundation settlement that he addressed with the homeowner. He recommended 5 helical piers on the exterior of the home to stabilize and correct the sinking foundation. The crew installed the piers and was able to get significant lift with minimal disturbance to the lawn and landscaping. 

A homeowner in Orient, OH called Mid-State Basement Systems because she was having water leaking into her home and the foundation walls in the basement were cracked. Our crew used several products to permanently repair all of the homeowner's concerns.

We used the WaterGuard subfloor drainage system around the perimeter to prevent further water leakage, CleanSpace vapor barrier on the wall to prevent moisture from entering the basement and make the walls look more appealing, and PowerBrace Beams to prevent further inward movement of the walls.

Now the homeowner will not need to worry about any water or foundation issues in the basement any longer.

Foundation walls begin to buckle, bow, or tilt inward from outside pressure from soil and water and can eventually cause foundation walls to collapse. The PowerBrace system is designed to stabilize failing basement walls and can help straighten them over time.

This Grove City, OH basement had a large horizontal crack in one of the foundation walls, which over time can become a major structural issue. The Mid-State Basements team installed three PowerBrace i-beams to stabilize and support the wall.

This crawl space in Marion, Ohio, had a moisture problem that was causing the floor joists, support beams, and bandboards to rot and become weakened. We sent our production crew, Led by Lane K., out to the home for repairs. The crew installed 2 new bandboards on the front and back of the home (see pictures) and sistered three of the joists in the craw space as well. They also installed SmartJacks to stabilize the home's foundation and help correct any settling.

This small basement in Tiffin, OH had failing wooden supports that caused sagging and uneven floors above. To restore stability, our team installed SmartJack XT steel support posts, designed to permanently reinforce and lift weakened floor joists. After installation, the floor was level, secure, and fully supported—bringing lasting peace of mind to the homeowner.
