Problem
Mr. Tremblay had an outdated, old and unsafe pump system. He contacted Systèmes Sous-sol Qc to change it to avoid any future problems.
Solution
Our team changed their pump system to our TripleSafe system. It is the most efficient, safe and airtight lid and includes 3 sump pumps, one of which is a battery backup. So even in case of a power outage, the TripleSafe will work.
The main floor in Mr. Hammer's house was no longer level and he even felt his floor "softer" in some places. One of the causes is the lack of support pillars in the crawl space. The current pillars of support were poorly spaced and inadequate.
The solution
We added galvanized steel SmartJack pillars to reinforce the beams to properly support the floor joists. These are even adjustable over time.
Before our work began, the crawl space beneath this Herouxville home was damp and unhealthy. High humidity and visible mold were present, raising concerns about indoor air quality and the home’s structural integrity. Poor ventilation and inadequate drainage allowed moisture to build up, increasing the risk of long-term damage.
After installing the CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system with drainage matting, SmartDrain, and the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, the crawl space is now dry, clean, and properly protected. Moisture is controlled, water is safely directed away, and humidity levels are stable. The home now benefits from improved air quality and a healthier foundation environment.
In the beautiful Roxton Falls, QC, a homeowner was battling a damp basement, a common nuisance that can cause a myriad of issues. As you can see in the before photo, the problem was significant enough to require a skilled solution. That's when they called on us. Our solution was the TripleSafe Sump Pump system—a reliable fortress against moisture. Notice in the after photo how effectively our installation transformed their wet, bothersome space into a dry, comfortable basement. Our focus was not only on fixing the immediate issue but also on delivering peace of mind with a long-lasting, remarkable service. Through this technical expertise, we are setting the foundation, quite literally, for healthier homes and happier homeowners in our community.
If you have a well that contains a pipe and a pump, it is not a good sump pump system. A good and efficient system can work under all possible circumstances and contains the following elements:
- A hermetic coating and lid
- A pump that operates under normal conditions
- A second pump that works during heavy rains or storms
- A battery booster pump that works during emergencies when there is a power failure.
