It was the day of closing on a little house in Fairfield, CT. That was the day it decided to rain truckloads of water which immediately found its way into the basement of this house - 4" worth. Well, the Buyers did their final walk through and came out very discouraged. I, as the listing agent was called and informed of the wet basement. I spoke with the Sellers' attorney and we decided to contact Connecticut Basement Systems and spoke with an operator who was very understanding and told me that the company had already scheduled 100 appointments that day. Becoming discouraged, I asked if there was someone I could speak to just to give me some guidance. She took my phone number and said she will have a tech call me back. Low and behold, he did call me. He understood the importance of losing a closing for the Sellers and Buyers. He scheduled an appointment to meet me at the property the very next day to ascertain what needed to be done to "fix" the problem. He did it right on the spot, called the office and scheduled the installation for the very next day. That is why I always call Connecticut Basement Systems first. They understand the frustration there is with a wet basement. Thanks for a great job completed in one day!
