Basement Systems performed work in both my current and previous home. In my previous home they installed a perimeter drain and pump system to correct a basement water problem that developed when the home’s  foundation waterproofing broke down. Their solution completely solved the problem, and the service was outstanding. In fact I use that experience in public speaking engagements  as an example of exceptional service.  From the problem assessment and   estimating process to  the system  installation and spotless clean up their work was outstanding. In my current home Basement Systems installed a similar but more elaborate system. They also sealed the houses crawl space. In both cases the work and experience was as good or better than my initial experience with the company. Most recently Dr. Energy Saver insulated my current home’s  attic with spray foam insulation after a roof  ice damming problem caused about $90,000 worth of interior damage. Dr. Energy Saver evaluated the cause of the ice damming and determined that heat loss from the attic was melting snow on the roof which then froze at night when the temperature dropped causing ice to form on the roof. The ice prevented water from draining off the roof which then backed up and into the house. By spraying foam insulation on the underside of the roof and the walls of the attic Dr, Energy Saver stopped the heat loss and resulting ice damming. An extra bonus is that the insulation reduced my heating and cooling  bills by at least 1/3.    My experience with both Basement Systems and Dr. Energy Saver was far better than any other  contractor or home service provider I have used before, and I recommend them both to you highly!

Hi Cary - I just wanted to touch base with you.  The foundation crack was filled yesterday, and I apologize for not remembering his name, but the man who came to do the work was WONDERFUL.  He was very pleasant and communicated everything prior to starting the work, and did a very thorough job.  He showed us the finished product and asked if we had any questions.  He cleaned up everything when he was done and I am thrilled that we won’t have water pouring in anymore!The crew here today to put in the drainage system is led by Alan Guglielmoni and again we are very pleased with how this project is going.  Alan explained what he was going to do, answered questions we had, and set up plastic sheeting to protect the surrounding areas.  I’m shocked at how little dust was created!  Alan is clearly a professional and we are so happy to have him working on our house.  They are not yet finished, but I’ve been checking on the progress and I am so impressed with how this project is going that I wanted to send you a quick note to say thank you for everything.  From the initial meeting to the loan process to the actual work being done: we are very happy we went with Connecticut Basement Systems.  Thank you for everything!Please feel free to use us for references if future clients have any questions!Thanks so much,Katie Hagen

Tonya Dzwonkowski reached out via email and by phone a number of times and she always seemed really polite and friendly! Unfortunately, due to my own schedule I didn't get the chance to talk to her but that wasn't for her her lack of trying! That was on me. She seemed very nice and even though I didn't get to call her back, I felt as though if I needed something she would have been very open and willing to help with whatever questions I might have had!

Brian DiRisi spent as much time with me as I needed in order to thoroughly answer all of my questions and understand the needs for my basement. He was very kind and very patient, and he always answered all of my questions as accurately as possible! We were scheduled to have our basement drains done on October 17 and during the night before installation we lost power. The next morning we still did not have power and it looked like it could be multiple days before we were going to get it back. I called first thing in the morning to let them know and they said that they would be there with their own generator to do the job. It was a messy, rainy, cold day but they were there and did the work. My husband and I are very satisfied with the work and the professionalism of everyone: salesman Mick Foster, the receptionist, the work crew and Bruce Toth, who came out yesterday for a possible problem with the plastic covering (that turned out not to be a problem at all.) Bruce took the time to answer all our questions and even checked the drains and the sump pumps. (We have an iron issue in our area.) We're looking forward to a continued satisfactory experience with Connecticut Basement Systems.
