They had water in their finished basement that was saturating the walls, and they believed that about 2/3 of the room was wet. This issue had only happened one other time, while the house was under construction, so the homeowner was very concerned. When our Home Comfort Specialist came out to the home, the homeowner was still trying to dry the area with fans. The Home Comfort Specialist noted that the water was coming in through the basement windows after pooling in the window wells. The drywall was soggy and damaged, and the carpet was saturated as well. The homeowner wanted to replace these.

We were able to help this customer with our Everlast™ Finished Wall Restoration panels! Everlast's half wall panels are 197% stronger than drywall and stud construction. This homeowner in West Hatfield, MA reached out to us looking for help with her basement. She wanted to have her insulation checked, and she had radon mitigation concerns. 

We had the perfect solution for this customer! We utilized two-part expanding spray foam. We insulated the rim joist (the perimeter of the floor framing system along the exterior of the home). We spray this foam in the rim joist and over the sill plate. Insulating the rim joist in this way seals all air leaks -- filling in the cracks and gaps that are present there. This prevents outside air from getting into the home. The homeowner is excited to be more comfortable in her home! 

This homeowner in Northampton, MA reached out to us because she was interested in crawl space insulation. She had a crawl space that she wanted reinsulated due to cold floors and musty odors coming from the crawl space.

We had the perfect solution for this customer. In this solution, SilverGlo™ foam insulation board is installed across the bottom of the floor joists with special long screws and 3” washers, SilverGlo™ is expanded polystyrene foam with graphite infused into the foam, which bumps up the insulation (“R”) value by 24% over standard EPS foam. Further, SilverGlo™ has a radiant barrier to reflect heat, so the insulation isn’t doing all the work by itself. All seams are sealed. Result - Much warmer floors, less drafts and more comfortable rooms, quieter home, lower fuel and electric bills.

It features a sturdy liner, airtight lid, 1/3 hp cast iron pump which can discharge up to 2200 gallons per hour, 8 feet high, and a stand to keep the pump out of silt and sediment. A WaterWatch® Alarm System alerts the homeowner to pump failure before the basement floor gets wet. We also installed a perimeter drainage system that connects to the pump. The homeowner is very excited to have a new sump pump for her home! 

This homeowner in Suffield, CT reached out to us because he was concerned about his attic insulation. When our Home Comfort Specialist arrived to the home, the homeowner asked him to take a look at the basement as well. The homeowner was concerned about his home comfort as well as a rodent issue he had. In the basement, the homeowner had a wooden door that led to the outside. It was leaking air from outside into the home, which was causing some comfort issues.
