After dealing with ongoing basement water intrusion, this homeowner from Lansdale, PA chose a comprehensive waterproofing system to protect their space from top to bottom. WaterGuard was installed along the foundation perimeter to capture water before it reached the basement floor, while a TrenchDrain was added in around the water heater to manage surface water and direct it into the drainage system. The collected water is safely removed by the TripleSafe sump system, providing dependable, multi-level pumping protection. To further seal the basement, CleanSpace was installed along the walls to block moisture and improve overall air quality. Outside, LawnScape carries discharged water away from the foundation, helping prevent future issues. Together, these solutions transformed the basement into a dry, clean, and well-protected space with lasting peace of mind.
Customer was putting their home up for sale, but knew as long as they had a wet basement, it would be hard to get an offer on the house and reached out to us for help.
For this basement waterproofing job, we installed a Cleanspace Vapor Barrier and WaterGuard along the leaking wall, and tied this into his current sump pump.
This was a 2-part basement project. We first needed to install a Supplemental Beam with 2 Smart Jacks to support the floor above the basement. Once the Smart Jacks were in play, we then got to finishing the basement by installing our TBF EverLast Wall System and Grey Elite Plank flooring. Basement Systems even went as far as camouflaging the Smart Jacks as a Decorative Post.
This home had water-damaged and moldy carpet in the basement. We took it out and installed waterproof wood look flooring designed for damp areas like basements. Regular flooring will not do well in basements because the concrete floor is porous and lets moisture through. When you cover it with carpet or other types of flooring, you can trap the air and create moisture. Wood-look flooring looks just like wood, even though it is made of vinyl. So there is no way that the new flooring can be damaged by water.
We removed the customer's dated window and cover and replaced it with a brand new Rockwell egress system!
