In this basement in Ellicott City, MD, the owner was looking to get more light into the lower part of the home and a safer way out incase of emergencies. On the outside of the home we excavated soil down to the foundation of the home in order for us to install our Egress RockWell. This one piece design will seal out moisture and will never corrode or deteriorate keeping this install reliable overtime.
New Rockwell egress window and well in Ellicott City.
This customer wanted to finish their basement but first wanted to take care of replacing their leaking window. Since they were going to finish the basement, they decided not to replace the window with just another standard basement window but instead with an Egress. Egress windows allow in a lot of natural light and are also a means for a fast and safe exit during an emergency.
We installed a 48 x 48 Slider Egress window along with a 48" RockWell and Well Cover.
Customer reached out to us because they had a standard basement window that they were looking to turn in to an Egress. When we got out to the property the customer decided on keeping the original window and installing an Egress right next to it.
This project consisted of us digging down and cutting out a 48" x 68" Egress opening in the foundation. Once we had the egress opening we then installed a 48" x 60" Slider Egress Window with a 36" RockWell and Elite Cover.
In this ranch-style home, the crawl space was made of dirt and was in need of encapsulation. We went out to the home to clean out the space and removed all fallen insulation that had gotten ruined over time. The team installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier throughout the crawl space and wrapped each pillar to prevent any type of moisture from leaking into the area. Once the waterproof plastic material is placed, we also installed our Sanidry Dehumidifier that will keep the space dry, moisture-free, and will no longer have the musty smell.
