We recently encapsulated this damp, musty crawl space in Columbus, Ohio with our CleanSpace encapsulation system. When paired with our SilverGlo insulation panels, CleanSpace seals the crawl space from both moisture and cold air, improving the air quality and making it much more energy efficient to heat and cool. Since the air from the crawl space rises throughout the rest of the home, this improves air quality and energy efficiency throughout the entire home!

This crawl space in Circleville, Ohio, was damp and musty, contributing to poor air quality throughout the entire home. We encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace system to permanently seal out moisture, dirt, and pests, instantly improving the home's air quality as well. 

A homeowner in Ashley, OH called Mid-State Basement Systems because his whole basement was damp and his crawl space had standing water and was overall not in good shape. We used SmartPipe, perimeter french drains specially designed for crawl spaces, to waterproof the crawl space. Then, we laid down drainage matting to prevent any potential water from puddling and instead run to the drains. Finally, the crew installed CleanSpace liner on top of that to prevent any further water, dampness, pest, mold, and more from entering the space again.

This customer's crawl space needed some TLC. We removed the old plastic liner and insulation and installed our CleanSpace encapsulation system instead. Not only does it look much better, but it's much more effective at sealing out moisture, dirt, and pests.
